The days seem to be flying by so fast right now, I wish I could stop time and relish in these moments for a bit longer. We went up to the cabin for an extended weekend and dang it felt so good to get out of our daily routine, and out of the house. It reminded me how important it is so plan something to get out of the house - but also we needed to come to the house to check in on it to see how it was doing after our first month of renters. Here are a few highlight moments of our week <3

Slow Sundays at the cabin are simply the best. Soaking up these moments with little man while I can still carry him.

I love the peak of the chalet and how the sun set catches behind the trees. I’m starting to dream up all the yard plans for this spring/summer.

I scored this wall hanging at Target on clearance for $11 - I mean it doesn’t get much better than that! I love this part of the design process for Ze Chalet - adding the little details over time that make it extra special.

Now that Maximus is sitting upright for his bath time I have a few moments to read a book, journal or meal prep ideas while he plays in the bath. I love watching him play and splash for as long as his little heart desires.

I caught this light peaking through in the downstairs media room, and love how moody and cozy this space turned out.

A renter hung the disco ball on a nail that was already on the beam and I absolutely love this vibe. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it!

We set up this play pen for Maximus this week. He is moving around a lot more and his little area in the living room was starting to take over. Even though this isn’t in the most ideal area (in our dining room area) it contains all of his toys to one area and gives him freedom to play without being worried about Sebastian (our 90lbs dog) stepping on him. This play matt didn’t fill the 59x59” inches exactly but the toys surrounded the boarder so it worked out. When people say kids take up so much space, they were not kidding!
