Tools Everyone Should Have In Their Cleaning Closet

Having a toddler means you are constantly cleaning! If you know, you know… so I have been determined to get good at it. I am not one of those people that naturally love cleaning, so any products that can help me make cleaning more efficient, I am going to do it! As I build up my cleaning closet collection these are my latest favorites and staples that everyone needs to have in their closet to help achieve a nice sparkly clean home with ease.

I recently made the switch to Branch Basics cleaning products after listening to this podcast of the founder speak on The Skinny Confidential. Highly recommend btw! I love first and foremost that its a completely clean brand, also that it simplifies your products. So you have 1 product measured out at different concentrate levels.

I’ve recently switched over to Blueland Dishwasher Pods because they are clean (no toxins) and don’t have a plastic covering. Its great because you can automate them on Amazon.

The famous Dupray Steam Cleaner is an absolute must in your cleaning kit. I love using it to get deep in the washer and dryer nooks that you cant get with anything else, it’s great for shower, kids toys, furniture, floors, jet tubs, the list goes on and on. Kids toys is one of my favorite because it kills bacteria on toys that you can use disinfecting spray on.

This Electric Spin Scrubber is perfect for tub surrounds and shower floors, it gets the grime in those tough to get places with the extendable handle.

These Hydrogen peroxide wipe I use daily to disinfect the kitchen, handles, switches. I love that they use hydrogen peroxide and not harsh chemicals.

I’ve recently started wearing reusable gloves when cleaning the kitchen & doing the dishes. I’m not sure what it does but it puts me into “cleaning mode” when I put them on and also saves my skin, especially helpful in the winter months when my hands dry out easily.
